A local Newport resident called to ask Victory Outreach Uk if we could help with the removal of some trees. We said yes and realised when we arrived we had a few days work before we would finish. The men did a great job and also re concreted part of the foundations of the building in the video . Food was kindly provided by another local resident every day and everyone was pleased with the work completed . This practical community involvement forms part of our Education program called Community awareness and Citizenship . Victory Outreach Uk has for many years contributed to the local communities around Wales, as part of the rehabilitation process for many of the people who come to us from troubled backgrounds. The Director of Victory Outreach Uk pictured here ,arranged with a local fly fishing club for one young man to help with the grounds work. Four hours later and one side of the lake was completed and ready for the weekend fly fishing match . We believe that in contributing something positive back into the community , a vital step is made for many to begin regaining a sense of community ownership, belonging and personal dignity .

Only 15 Rooms to go, Here is room No3 completed

We are excited to update you on the renovation progress at our Victory Outreach Uk mens home at The Bush Hotel . We are still in the process of upgrading the remaining fifteen rooms for our residents , and we will be showing you more updates in the weeks ahead . Here is the latest room ready for our next client , with newly plastered walls and redecorated top to bottom with a much needed new carpet . All the work was carried out as part of our preparation for work program by our residents and staff.

Great news our first room completed

In December we mentioned four out of our twenty residents rooms at our mens home were in the process of a long overdue renovation . I am pleased to say that we have completed to a high standard the first three rooms that were pictured in Victory Outreach UKs December blog .

As part of the residents preparation for employment under staff supervision, residents were involved in the building and finishing of all these rooms . We hope this will help further equip them and also provide an added sense of achievement toward their future goals .

Since the completion of these rooms, one resident who was extensively involved in this project has since graduated from our rehab and was automatically accepted into the second year of a college course. The residents portfolio of work was recognised and accepted as completion of his first year while in Victory Outreach UK . We still have loads of rooms and work to do please contact us if you can help supply materials, products or financially support this work.

Room renovations continue at The Bush hotel

This is the third of the four rooms at Victory Outreach Uk we are working hard to complete before Christmas in order to help house those who are homeless over the Christmas period and new year, All the walls and ceiling have been re-plastered , a new coat of paint along with new carpet and furniture is now needed contact us if you would like to support in any way or get involved . Baptism Service

Sunday the 4th of December at 11am Victory Outreach Uk will be conducting a Baptism Service for residents, who have decided to further follow Christ in a public confession of faith through the waters of baptism . The service will be taken by Victory Outreach Uk, with CEO Pastor Andrew Parsons speaking. This meeting will also be open to the public and all family and friends who wish to support this great event . We look forward to seeing you there and hearing the personal accounts of how the Lord Jesus Christ has made such a difference in their lives.
